Sound familiar?
Where a packaging plant loses its day
A die goes into the cutter for one short run, then comes straight back out.
Board for a big order was counted on for two customers at once.
Customers call to ask when their boxes ship, and someone has to walk the floor to find out.
What ManuHive does
From board to pallet, on one screen
For plants that print, cut and glue many formats on the same lines.
- Basic plan
Fewer die and ink changes
Tag each product with its board, inks and die. Optimize groups jobs that share a die or inks, so the cutter and the press change over as rarely as possible.
Board reserved per order
A new order reserves the board, film and ink it needs, and the stock page shows what is still free for the next order.
Every step recorded at the machine
Operators start and finish each step on the machine screen, and the screen warns when the next order needs a different die or different inks.
- Pro plan
More than one warehouse
Keep board in more than one warehouse. When the first runs short, the order takes the rest of the same material from the next one by itself.
- Pro plan
Deliveries and routes
Plan delivery routes, give each driver their stops on their phone, and see what has been delivered.
A tracking link per order
Customers follow their order from a link you send, instead of calling to ask.

Facts on every product
- Board
- The board or film a product runs on. Switching it on a machine counts as a changeover.
- Inks
- The set of inks a product prints with. Inks shared with the job before cost nothing.
- Die / format
- The die a product needs. Each new one is kept as you type it, so it is spelled the same next time.
